5th Circuit Slaps Down Govt. Appeal On Drilling Ban

New Orleans - - The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals refused
to stay the U.S. District Court decision overriding
President Barack Obama's six-month ban on deep drilling in
the Gulf.

The government had sought to reinstate the Presidential
order that would have prohibited deep water drilling through
an appeal to the 5th Circuit.
