Washington – Sexting, points of order, waffling and weird flip flops will end, according to associates of Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-NY.
The Democratic Congressman will reportedly resign his seat. Mr. Weiner has been called to task by a number of women he allegedly sent obscene photos and lurid propositions over Twitter and other social media.
He has ended a defiant run during which he said he would never give in and resign, but now has reversed his earlier resolution.
New York demos will likely move to fill his seat, a wasted motion, since the state assembly is believed poised to eliminate the district during its current session.
