Ship that buried bin Laden at sea back in home port
Coronado - More than 5,000 sailors made it back to their home port after burying Osama bin Laden at sea following a raid by U.S. Navy Seals from the antiterrorist unit, Team 6.
The ship had been cruising the Indian Ocean and other mideastern waters for almost a year when the mission was accomplished.
Many of the ship's complement and members of aviation squadrons temporarily attached to the vessel were greeted by new-born sons and daughters whom they had never before seen.
