Nearly 7 out of 10 believe Super Committee will fail

Factoid - A recent Politico poll hot off the press shows that 69% of Americans polled believe that the Super Committee on debt reduction will fail in its task to cut $1.5 trillion in federal spending over the next 10 budget years.

Word from Capitol Hill has it that there is no forward motion in the talks that would produce budget cuts.
