Another must see Matthew Medina moment on 6th St.
Police officers from all jurisdictions are starting to make numerous arrests of folks wielding video cameras who record their actions, especially whilst they are effecting arrests. It's a coast-to-coast phenomenon, one in which "free thinkers" are, in turn, often provoking their own arrests to test the validity of statutes and ordinances that preclude interference with an officer conducting an investigation, and similar charges, either by making photos or just standing by to observe.
A recent protest involving video recording of officers conducting an investigation and crowd control operation at the University of California at Davis sparked an incident of pepper spraying dozens of protesters from the OccupyWallSt movement who were decrying, among other things, the near impossibility of repayment of student loans to financial institutions under present economic conditions.
