The General Command of Al Qaeda made a predictable threat following Friday prayers over the death of Osama bin Laden in a commando raid led by U.S. Navy Seals earlier this week.
“Sheik Osama didn't build an organization to die when he dies,” the communique said. It came during a day of loud lament by hundreds of radical Islamic parties protesting that bin Laden is in fact alive and decrying what they consider the U.S. violation of Pakistani sovereignty in the raid that led to his death at Abbotabad.
"We will remain, God willing, a curse chasing the Americans and their agents, following them outside and inside their countries."
Pundits said the threat and resulting protests following Friday prayers throughout the mideast should remove all doubt that there is any question that the radical Islamic terrorist leader is in fact dead.
Various Senators and Congressmen urged the Department of Homeland Security to increase the nation's security level following the threat.
