The Associated Press reports that the Obama administration has made a decision to withdraw all but about 160 U.S. Troops attached to the embassy by year's end.
The revelation ends speculation that the Defense Department will leave a force of troops behind in spite of a deadline negotiated in 2008.
According to published reports, “A Pentagon spokesman said Saturday that no final decision has been reached about the U.S. training relationship with the Iraqi government.”
