Mr. George Gershwin got to listening to an old train making up in the streets of New York City, and, just like Rhapsody in Blue, he went right to work and wrote it down, scored it in musical notation, perfected it at the piano - and there you have it. Concerto in F. Can't you hear the old train rolling along past the ding ding dong alarms at the intersections? Can't you hear the old train blowing the air out of its brake system and jerking the combination to make sure every coupling is hooked up?
