Anonymous bank transfer day to deplete money supply

Propose 11/5/11 as a day to withdraw cash

Anonymous, the hackers' group that has subverted banking systems in retaliation for suspending support of Wikileaks fundraising operations, is proposing that depositors withdraw their cash from banks and deposit the funds in non-profit credit unions.

Their reasoning:

Fiat money is worthless for merchant banks, because if they need it they just create it, but if they loose their reserves of hard cash they may even could become bankrupt.

Over the past month, we have witnessed the Occupy protests grow to unbelievable strengths. 82 countries and 1000 cities are currently joining in the Occupy movement. Occupy Wall Street is currently heading into its 30th day of protest and is showing little signs of stopping.

This November the 5th, we invite you to join us, for Bank Transfer day.

We invite you to remove all funds from your bank account and transfer them to a not-for-profit credit union.

Together, we will show banks a day they will never forget.

They will remember, the 5th of November.
Oakland: flash, bang, tear gas, a bonfire
Protesters, including members of teachers and longshoremen's, unions blocked roll-on/ roll-off container freight trucks' access to the Port of Oakland, as well as the front doors of banks throughout that beleaguered city on the first day of the General Strike in suport of #OccupyWallSt.
