Wild hawgs to rumble Czechmas parade in West, TX

West – It won't happen at high noon, but at 1 p.m. on Saturday, bikers from all over Central Texas will converge on the Bohemian community of West for the Christmas parade.

Like most boosterized events, no one has the slightest idea what's going on, but everyone – or just about everyone – is in charge.

Here's the good part.

Someone wants the black t-shirted hordes to park in front of the bank, not at the beer joint.

Imagine that.

As if the banks and insurance companies don't already have enough influence over the situation...Ah, well, never mind. That's cornball stuff, as a young Marlon Brando said in his immortalized performance in black and white, “The Wild One.”

The rest of the world can go to hell. As for me, I'm going to Tokio
If you've got a Hawg, you should seriously consider being there to see what - in the world - happens next.

After all, it's the home of the friendliest people, the prettiest women, and the coldest beer in the Great Lone Star State of Texas, located conveniently on Interstate 35 at the corner of 2114 – where the Big Owls used to hoot in the neon, in that evening sky - before the freeway got wider and the angels learned to cry...
