High noon for indefinite detention, war powers act

At Congressional offices Feb. 3, 12:00 sharp

Overwhelming Congressional support for two provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 - indefinite detention for American citizens accused of very vague offenses with a total suspension of the Bill of Rights, and the declaration of the entire nation as a war zone - shocked people of all political leanings.

Naturally, the numbers of Congress critters who voted in support of this turn to martial law was both broad-based and bi-partisan. Here is how U.S. Representatives voted in districts nationwide.

Protesters of all political stripes intend to gather at their local congressional offices at high noon on Feb. 3 to let the politicians know how they feel about that. - The Legendary
