Americans generally accurate
According to polls taken October 28-29, there is an even split of 48 to 48 percent between the two candidates, with tracking suspended this past Monday due to the devastating approach of “Superstorm” Sandy.(one need only click here to view the material published by Gallup)

of registered American voters are generally accurate in a prediction
of both the winner of the popular vote, and the electoral college of
votes cast in the House of Representatives to determine the winning
presidential ticket once the popular vote has been canvassed.
