Chubbyknuckle Choir - "It's always something..."

Comin' out of the Styx on Highway 6, y'all

Showmanship is what it's all about, folks. An old-timer from down in the Mississippi Delta told me he saw The Wolf in a juke on Highway 49 one night.

The crowd was getting kind of lackadaisical, so the man decided to punch them up a little bit, just conjure them a taste, you see.

He had an extra long cord on his electric guitar, so he got up and started walking around the room, bowing, dancing, jumping around. Then he backed into the ladies' room and kept on playing. No matter. You could still hear him picking.

When he came out, he had a pair of ladies' drawers hanging on the neck of the guitar.

He was staggering around, obviously in difficulty. Then he passed out on the floor, just alligatored on out right there on the dance floor - prostrate, prone, heaving, breathing, sick as a dawg, y'all.

Scared everybody in there half to death.

They worked to revive The Wolf, but to no avail. That's when somebody jerked the drawers off the guitar neck and waved them in his face.

The Wolf came up grinning, strumming, dancing and clowning.

The show must go on. The show must go on, no matter what.
