Without the citizen journalists of Syria broadcasting scenes of devastation caused by government attacks on their neighborhoods, the world would probably never know of the scope of the violence in that troubled nation.
Embedded mainstream media is banned from entering the pockets of resistance and government retaliation that characterize this revolution.
