Good people need no leaders. Bad people kill their leaders. - Zapata
The conclusion of an interview with the chieftain, Horse With No Name, begun in 2008.
Are you going to the north, to the caves, Jim?
No, Horse.
There are many witches there.
Truly, Horse. I am going to cross the Valley of Death.
Are you going to allow that, for them to turn you to evil?
No, Horse.
Are you going to let them poison you to death, Jim?
No, Horse.
Do you know it is impossible to awaken someone who is pretending to be asleep?
Truly, Horse.
Go, then. Be awake.
Ugashe. I go, Horse.
Nogales - In the winter of the blood moon, the black birds have fallen dead from the sky and a loco has attempted to shoot dead the woman Congressman in Tucson. He shot dead a girl child and the chief of the federal court.
Six are dead; in all, 18 suffered the bullets.
Now the border soldiers come from the soldier fort and say that the gun the bandits used to shoot the border soldier Brian Terry was stolen by the soldiers from the soldier fort in Phoenix and sold to the bandits with many other guns made originally for the soldiers.
Some were sold to the Mexican army, others to the contra armies of Central America, and others to the South Vietnamese. They are to found now in Mexico. They did not come from Houston area gun shops. They are select fire, fully automatic weapons manufactured under government contract for American client states of the U.S. government.
The talking heads and the scribblers try to explain it all by saying it's the hateful talk of the people that makes it so.
Not true.
It's the things the people do that make it so. They have talked many times before. Now, they kill.
Representative Gabrielle Giffords was an anomaly, a Democratic congresswoman who voted for Obamacare in a state that is heavily Republican. She narrowly beat a Tea Party candidate to retain her seat in the House of Representatives, only to be gunned down in a Tucson supermarket parking lot during a meeting with her constituents.
U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry lay in wait in the desert night, hunting bandits who prey on Mexicans crossing the border without legal papers in this wild brush country of arroyos and barrancas, rocky hills and prickly cactus grounds. When the bandits got the drop on him in a fire fight, he bled out and died before a helicopter to could whisk him to a hospital because he was far from a suitable landing zone.
According to anonymous BATFE agents who are raising the hue and cry on internet blogspots, the fully automatic M-16 used to kill the 40-year-old Border Patrol Agent was “walked” across the border by government operatives looking to “pad” the books with higher numbers of American assault weapons originating in the U.S. and seized from foreign nationals operating on the border.
The Sipsey Street Irregulars are quoting CleanUpATF.org and noted gun rights journalist David Codrea extensively in articles that call for Congressional and Senatorial hearings into the allegedly illegal and unethical practices of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives management at Washington, D.C.
A recent column:
A long-time friend of mine who I had not heard from in a long while got a hold of me this morning out of the blue. Let's call him "Deep Throat." He lives across the river from the District of Criminals and has, shall we say, considerable ground-level experience in explaining American foreign policy to the violent and wayward across the planet.
"He informs me that his sources tell him that the White House is now fully briefed on the "Walking Gun-gate" scandal and is now calling the shots. "They are in desperate need of a cover-up, but aren't competent enough to arrange one," he said with a laugh. "They don't know whether to shit or go blind."
Senators' offices are asking questions (I'm working on a generic briefing paper for one right now), with staffers seeking out sources, trying to corroborate stories here at Sipsey Street and at David Codrea's War on Guns and Examiner column. Three (at least) major outlet news reporters are seeking out ATF agents to go on deep background on the story of the "walking guns" and the death of BP officer Brian A. Terry.
Among the things we know:
1. ATF’s Phoenix office allowed the guns to go across the border.
2. The ATF office in Mexico was denied permission to share this information with their Mexican counterparts. Believing this was wrong, they went over the heads of the Phoenix office and requested permission directly from headquarters in DC.
3. The higher-ups sided with the Phoenix decision to withhold the information from Mexican authorities.
As David asks: "That would make this an international law enforcement incident, would it not?"
Yes it does, and that is reported to be part of the White House dilemma.
In terms of proof that one of ATF "walking guns" was used to murder Brian Terry, it can be simply answered under oath by settling two questions:
1. What does ATF trace data show?
2. Were any prior traces ever run on this particular firearm, and what did they show?
Prediction from "Deep Throat": Eric Holder is finished as AG. My likely candidate for his replacement? The premier Clintonista cover-up queen, Jamie S. Gorelick.
Also, a warning from DT: Those agents of the ATF who have first-hand knowledge of this scandal are in, to quote him directly, "'suicide' territory." This category would include some guilty personages on the fifth floor of the "Concrete Asshole of the Universe." I would like to take this moment to remind the DOJ-gers who are recently signing on to Sipsey Street Irregulars in record numbers of this recent post: A message that Eric Holder understands perfectly well: No more free William Colbys. Not to put too fine a point on it, but the Doctrine of One Hundred Heads still applies to deadly tyrannical acts and extends to protecting the lives of honest whistle blowers.
The CleanUpATF.org website continued to hacked overnight with posts offensive to the ATF removed by a person (or persons) unknown. This amounts to mere petty harassment that only confirms the ATF, DOJ and White House desperation...
(REDACTED) former attache to Mexico is an honest and honorable guy. He was forcefully removed from Mexico w o warning in Nov in large part because he wouldn't sit silent on these matters. He will tell the truth if asked by competent authority. He retired Dec 31 because of all this...
Waldo brought this interesting exchange at CleanUpATF.org to my attention. It refers to Border Patrol officer Brian A. Terry, killed in a shoot-out with smugglers near the border at Nogales earlier this month.
This is consistent with rumors within and without the ATF that in order to bump up Operation Gunrunner numbers, the Arizona ATF has been encouraging snitches to buy semi-auto rifles and smuggle them south. As you will read below, there are also reports that one of these rifles was used to kill BP officer Terry.
Understand, this is not Alex Jones saying these things, but ATF street agents appalled at their own management's derelictions of duty and law-breaking.
The thread began with this post from "1desertrat:

Word is that curious George Gillett the Phoenix ASAC stepped on it again. Allegedly he has approved more than 500 AR-15 type rifles from Tucson and Phoenix cases to be “walked” to Mexico. Appears that ATF may be one of the largest suppliers of assault rifles to the Mexican cartels! One of these rifles is rumored to have been linked to the recent killing of a Border Patrol Officer in Nogales, AZ. Can anyone confirm this information?
Microscope replies:
Does this surprise anyone? Gillett is and has been operating several levels above his appropriate pay grade for years. Whatever he touches turns to crap. The word on the street is that some huge battle damage is going to hit ATF behind this guy very soon. Was this guns to Mexico the thing that people were talking about? I thought is was something else. If he had a hand in allowing the gun that killed the BP agent to go to Mexico then the s**t is about to hit the fan for ATF. If I was the deceased agents family and this rumor turns out to be true I would bankrupt ATF in a lawsuit (not that money could ever bring back their son or ease their pain). Rest in Peace brother./
So the jest is the ATF hatched a plan to grasp more power through deadly artificial means. Would not surprise me to find the ATF was behind incendiary dialogue with a mentally ill young man in Arizona. And the sheep sleep comfortably in the stable.
