NJ – President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt
Romney appear to be in a dead heat going into the Democratic National
Convention.
Latest
poll figures released yesterday show that GOP Presidential contender
Mitt Romney emerged from the Republican National Convention still
trailing President Obama by one percentage point.
The46 percent to 47 percent split is well within the margin of error,and is esssentially a flip from the pre-convention surge of onepercentage point, which gave the Republican nominee a score of 47percent approval of voters surveyed to the President's 46 percent.(click here for a full report on the Gallup Poll)
