Veterans bill outlaws Baptist hate group at funerals

Washington – President Barack Obama signed a new veterans bill that prohibits the Westboro Baptist Church from making hateful demonstrations at the funerals of fallen servicemen.

The Kansas church, which is by and large made up of one family, travels hundreds of miles on any given day to make loud graveside protests at the funerals of veterans they don't even know.

Their issue: homesexuality in the military, when the veterans they so dishonor have no such issues. The Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center have both labeled the church a hate group.

Said President Obama in signing the bill, "We have a moral sacred duty to our men and women in uniform. The graves of our veterans are hallowed grounds."
